The Village of Mamaroneck will mark a milestone when it holds the 20th edition of its annual Tree Lighting & Santa Experience holiday event this December.
The event will feature a walk-through light display featuring holiday images and characters. Visitors can receive complementary ornaments for holiday trees and treats at Santa’s Sweet Shoppe while supplies last. The big man in red himself will be visiting on the first day of the event, and will be available for photo opportunities and meeting with children.
The Tree Lighting will be accompanied by a Holiday Market and Boutique Fair for those looking for a late holiday present. The market will feature local artists, crafters, small store owners, and home businesses offering unique and handmade goods. Vendors at events like this often use giveaways and Business Cards to help win over new repeat customers.
The event will culminate with an official lighting of a large holiday tree on Saturday evening, where it will stand until the end of the calendar year. The tree lighting, hosted by the city’s Recreation Department, has become a popular family tradition across Mamaroneck over the past two decades, with past events including socializing and many visits from Santa’s sleigh.
The 2025 Annual Tree Lighting & Santa Experience will take place on December 13 and 14 at Harbor Island Park in Mamaroneck.
