Mamaroneck to host Big fundraiser

The Artistree Community Theater will be looking to make a splash in Mamaroneck this Match with its “A Big Bright Beautiful Benefit Concert.”

The show will feature a musical revue including Broadway stars Kelly Karbacz (who also appeared in Orange is the New Black) and Lauren Nicole Chapman (of Frozen and Kinky Boots.) Teachers from the Artistree Theatre School will join this duo on stage for a set of popular songs.

The benefit show will open with a gala featuring wine and hors d’ouevres where guests can talk and mingle. There will also be a silent auction in the Library Community Room, with the money from winning bids going towards the Theater. Fundraising events like this often offer Promotional Products and gift items to help visitors remember the occasion.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards the Theater’s efforts to help people of all ages from the Mamaroneck area and beyond explore the theatre, including the upcoming intergenerational production of Shrek: The Musical. The Artistree Theater will also be presenting a one-night staging of “Working!” in Mamaroneck this April. The organization describes itself as

“a not-for-profit organization that supports actors and artists of all ages in Westchester County and provides opportunities for performances in musicals, plays, cabarets and more!”

“A Big Bright Beautiful Benefit Concert” will take place at the Emelin Theatre in Mamaroneck on March 12.
