Mamaroneck to celebrate Halloween with parade

The Village of Mamaroneck will be marking the Halloween parade with its "Spooktacular" parade and festival this October.

The parade invites local residents of all ages to march down Mamaroneck Avenue in their Halloween costumes or otherwise dress like their favorite characters, showing off their creativity and making for a memorable photo opportunity. The route will go from The Regatta to Harbor Island Park, leading marchers through the heart of the village.

The parade will lead into a festive area with family-friendly activities. Young visitors can get in some early trick-or-treating, get their faces painted, and take part in Halloween crafts and games. There will also be live entertainment including a DJ, live karaoke and stage magician. The festival grounds will include a haunted house for those looking to test their courage.

The event is hosted by the Mamaroneck Chamber of Commerce, with local businesses and organizations invited to set up a table and connect with residents. Past editions of the Spooktacular have drawn thousands of visitors. Community events such as this one often use grassroots methods such as poster printing and social media to help connect with potential attendees.

The 2026 edition of the Spooktacular Halloween Parade & Event will take place at Pavilion Field in Harbor Island Park, following a parade starting at The Regatta. Attendance is free for all.
