Mamaroneck youths to fish for a good time
Fish Hut has organized a free fishing event for young adults at Mamaroneck Marine Education.
The event, sponsored by Nothing Bundt Cakes’ White Plains branch, promises a day of fishing, learning, lots of Bundt cupcakes, and great prizes.
Attendees who do not have any fishing experience will get an opportunity to learn from fishing experts at Mamaroneck Marine Education and Fish Hut in Mamaroneck. There will also be a raffle at the end of the event, and the lucky winner will get a one-year family membership to the Greenburgh Nature Center, where they can enjoy the 33-acre nature preserve with an organic garden, native plant meadow, vernal pond, nature trails, live animal museum, and a Native American village replica.
After the event, anyone who uploads a close-up image of the fish they caught will get a chance to win instant prizes. Nothing Bundt Cakes has promised free cakes for the first 50 people to upload a picture from June 2 to August 12.
The event will start at 1:00 p.m. on June 2, and all youths across the state are invited. Fish Hut has also created the Fish Hut NY Summer Fishing Festival flyer, which offers potential attendees more details on what to expect during the event, as well as how to book a ticket.
