Pet Rescue will be holding its annual Paws in the Park Dog Walk & Festival in Mamaroneck this September, aiming to raise money for local humane services.
The event invites animal lovers from throughout the area to take a walk along the Long Island Sound, with each participating individual or family making a donation. Children and leashed dogs are welcome to join adult walkers, with each dog getting a free bandana.
There will also be a festival area at the finish line, with a live DJ and pet-themed activities and competitions. Visitors can even take a look at dogs and cats that are currently up for adoption. There will be prizes awarded to dogs for best dressed, best trick, and the closest “fur-mily resemblance” to their owner.
Money raised will go towards Pet Rescue’s efforts to help and find homes for stray dogs and cats in the Long Island area. Walkers can join teams to pool their contributions, with the top groups and individuals receiving $500 gift cards as prizes. Charitable events like this often provide Promotional Products like shirts or gift Bags to reward contributions and serve as a reminder for next year.
The 2025 Paws in the Park Dog Walk & Festival will take place at Harbor Island Park in Mamaroneck on the afternoon of September 20. In the event of rain, the walk will be moved to the following day.
