Mamaroneck to celebrate first Bubble Day
Mamaroneck children’s store The Toy Box will be holding Bubble Day this June, inviting children and families to what is hoped to be the beginning of an annual tradition.
The store will be closing its parking lot to use it as a play place full of bubbles and watery play to help cool off during the summer heat. There will be bubble machines, wands, and other ways for children to explore and play. There will also be music and instruction to help keep the kids moving. Parents are encouraged to enjoy the outdoors and take pictures. Promotional material emphasizes the intent to create a community event:
The Toy Box boasts of being Westchester’s largest toy store, and has been a Mamaroneck institution for almost 50 years. Bubble Day is part of the store’s regular events that aim to attract children and families, including summer camps, science fairs, and more. Family events like this often use colourful poster printing and signs to help attract children and their parents.
The inaugural Bubble Day will take place on June 30 at the Toy Box parking lot in Mamaroneck.
