The Center for Continuing Education is offering a free community health course to help Mamaroneck residents maintain healthy habits.
This course will be presented by Tony Buettner, the current Blue Zones National Spokesperson, who will share tips and tricks for living long, healthy, and more fulfilling lives with the audience. Attendees are also promised a picture presentation of different blue zones across the globe, captured by National Geographic photographers. Blue zones are known as areas on the planet where people are thought to live longer lives.
After a few decades of observations, scientific studies, and traveling to current blue zones, Mr. Buettner will share the nine common lifestyle habits and diets that link all blue zones in the world. According to Buettner, these science-backed habits shared during the event promise to add up to 12 years to the life of the average American.
Mr. Buettner is also the Blue Zone Project expert, working with communities across the world that wish to learn about the benefits of this program and bring changes to their area. This event will also give the Center for Continuing Education an opportunity to collect donations to support the different programs they offer and make such initiatives possible in the future. Organizations like this may partner with local brochure printing services to Print and distribute informative Flyers and Brochures for attendees to take home and share with their families and friends.
This free community course will be held at the Mamaroneck High School on May 6, from 7.00 pm to 8.15 pm.Get a Free Quote for Flyers Get a Free Quote for Brochures Get a Free Quote for Print
