Mamaroneck concert to feature Broadway stars
A special edition of the Concerts in the Park series is coming to Mamaroneck, featuring top Broadway performers singing some of the Great White Way’s biggest classics.
The event, Broadway on the Sound, is produced and hosted by New York’s casting director Stephen DeAngelis, with musical director and accompanist Asher Denburg. The concert will include experienced Broadway performers, including two-time Tony nominee Gavin Lee, Todd Buonopane, Kennedy Caughell, and Kissy Simmons. The quartet will be singing and dancing along with songs from classic family-friendly musicals ranging from The Sound of Music and Annie to The Lion King and Frozen. The concert is free to attend, with food trucks and drink vendors on site. It is part of Mamaroneck’s Concerts in the Park series, which has previously included the Bruce Springsteen tribute show Tramps Like Us.
