Forest Hills locals can attend a concert by The Menzingers in November at the Knockdown Center.
The Menzingers will headline a concert that features several other groups at the Knockdown Center. They are a punk band who have created many original songs, like “Where Your Heartache Exists”, “There's No Place in This World for Me”, and “After the Party”. The group have performed all over the country at venues like Water Street Music Hall, Franklin Music Hall, and the Marathon Music Works. The Menzingers have released eight studio albums throughout their careers. The evening will also include performances from artists like Cloud Nothings and Rodeo Boys.
The Menzingers is a group of four members who got together in 2006. Gregor Barnett and Tom May provide vocals for the band. Eric Keen plays the bass, and Joe Godino plays the drums. The band started in Scranton, Pennsylvania and released their first full-length album on Go-Kart Records. The group's work has been featured in lists on publications like Stereogum and Loudwire.
