Forest Hills residents can tune into a virtual event in May to hear answers to some of the most frequently asked questions heard by pediatricians.
The Queens Public Library has asked pediatricians from NYC Health+Hospitals/Elmhurst to attend a Q&A to reveal the answers behind the most common subjects asked by parents about their kids. Tips covered during the presentation will include topics like eating and handling tantrums. After the discussion, viewers will have an opportunity to directly ask the pediatricians about anything not covered during the show.
The pediatric department of H+H/Elmhurst offers the public several services, including pediatric ambulatory services, inpatient services, and newborn services. The facilities provide care for kids and can also give patients vaccinations, developmental assessments, and tests for allergies. The hospital has numerous accreditations from organizations like The Joint Commission and the American College of Surgeons. Medical facilities like this can use brochure printing to give patients easily distributable packets of information.
The virtual discussion will be held on May 25 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Adults are the intended viewers for the program, which will be presented be English. Registration for the activity is not necessary, and viewers do not need to pay to see the show. A link and the access code for the meeting can be found on the library’s website.
