The IT Training Center in Forest Hills will be offering an educational course this September that teaches students about using Microsoft Power BI.
Microsoft Power BI is a business analytics service that helps companies better understand their data. The 4 Weekends Power BI Training Course is a program that people can attend to learn about the fundamentals of Power BI, providing students with 16 hours of instructor-guided training. Those who take this class will be given practical hands-on lab exercises and learn from real-life scenarios. Teachers who hold programs such as this can use brochure printing to provide their classes with educational materials to take home.
Many valuable topics will be covered throughout the course, including how to visualize data through combination charts, matrixes, and slicers. The class will also teach subjects like publishing and sharing information, acquiring data for Power BI, and using Excel in Power BI. People who enter this program will be expected to understand how data works and should have some basic experience with using Microsoft Excel.
The instructional sessions will begin on Saturday, September 12 and will continue until Saturday, October 3. The cost to attend this class will be $500 per student, which will include educational handouts and access to useful resources on the program’s cloud. The course will take place between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm.
