Forest Hills to offer Latin dance lessons

Somos Latin Dance will be holding two lessons in December at a dance studio in Forest Hills.

Those interested in improving their dance skills can participate in two pop-up classes offered by an experienced instructor. The first lesson will teach students about salsa, and the second program will cover bachata. People can attend the program individually or attend the course with a friend. The class is intended for inexperienced students who want to try salsa dancing. Organizations offering dance lessons like this can promote their activities by using flyer printing.

Somos Latin Dance is a school founded by Nancy Bocanegra, a talented dancer who has choreographed routines in Miami, New York, and Philadelphia. The lessons offered by the dance academy will teach students about differences in rhythms and how the genre’s sounds have changed over time. The dance school also offers private courses for people that start at $95 for a single session. Consumers may even use the organization to choreograph their weddings.

The salsa and bachata pop-up lessons will take place on Saturday, December 10. The salsa course will be held from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm, and the class on bachata will be from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm. Each session costs $15 per student to join. Somos Latin Dance also offers courses in Manhattan, like Salsa Fundamentals and Merengue + Bachata Essentials.
