Forest Hills to host food festival

Those interested in trying different foods can visit the Forest Hills Stadium during October to participate in EEEEEATSCON.

A two-day event, this features several top-rated restaurants throughout New York City. Guests can listen to performances from groups such as Laundry Day, Run P, and the Vy Higginsen’s Sing Harlem Choir. There will also be live panels held by notable people in the food industry like Syreeta Gates and Mark Brand. All ages are allowed to enter the stadium for the festival, though only those over 21 can drink alcohol.

Numerous participating restaurants will be serving food, including Hattie B’s Hot Chicken, Di An Di, and Besfren. The Wine Room at the festival will be curated by London’s Noble Rot restaurant and wine bar. Burger fans will have access to an exclusive one created only for the occasion by the Shake Shack and a mystery collaborator. Businesses that attend events like this can use flyer printing to get the community interested in joining the festival.

EEEEEATSCON will be held on October 5 and 6 starting at noon. The price to attend the event is $30 a person, which will include access to the panels and live entertainment during the festival. All food and drinks served will cost money to try, so there will be ATMs on-site, and all vendors will also accept credit cards.
