Forest Hills set for Sunday swap

The public is invited to enjoy a unique shopping experience this weekend, at which everything can be exchanged for something needed at no cost.

The ‘Stop and Swap’ event in Forest Hills will offer a wide selection of goods, meaning that there should be something suitable for the whole family. The promoters of this extravaganza may have used flyer printing and poster printing to advertise it to the people all over the region.

The public is asked to bring in gently-used clean clothing and small portable items so they can be swapped and reused by another person, although people are not required to bring something in order to take away a free item they require. This event promises to have a large collection of reusable clothing, toys, small household appliances, and other portable items to share.

Attendees should note that no furniture or large items will be accepted for swapping. People who attend this meet will enjoy socializing with others and shopping without requiring money.

This is a free event and everyone is welcome to bring items to exchange. It will be taking place on Sunday, May 18, starting at 11:00 am at the Central Queen YMCA located at 67-09 108 Street. To find out more about this swap meet, please visit the Central Queens YMCA website or call 718-268-5011, Extension 151.
