The Queens Community House in Forest Hills will be holding a gala to honor important local figures and fund its programming.
The Fall 2022 Gala is a program where changemakers are celebrated by the Queens Community House. This year, the two honorees for the event will be Meyhem Lauren and Kenneth Adams. Lauren is an entertainer, and Adams is LaGuardia Community College’s current president. Past award recipients include Jacob Lew, Edgardo Alfonzo, and the Queens Museum. The gala will be at the Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria, New York.
The Forest Hills branch of the Queens Community House opened in 1976. Several services are offered by the center, including delivering meals to seniors, preventing homelessness, holding summer camp programs for middle schoolers, and providing transportation to the elderly. The community center also benefits teens with its workforce programming, such as helping young adults prepare resumes or offering job placement opportunities.
The fall gala will be held on October 12th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Individual tickets for the event are $250, and corporate tickets will cost $350. Companies can purchase digital ads to display during the program for $1,500 and $3,000. Sponsorship packages will range from $8,000 to $50,000. Community groups in charge of galas such as this can give Corporate Gifts to the local businesses that become sponsors for the events.Get a Free Quote for Corporate Gifts
