Dr. Alfredo Astua will be visiting the Forest Hills branch of the Queens Public Library this February to hold a health workshop about asthma.
Those who are interested in learning about asthma can attend a presentation held by Dr. Astua. There will be multiple topics regarding the lung disease that will be covered, including the common triggers, symptoms, and treatments for the condition. He currently works at NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst as an experienced pulmonologist and received his medical degree from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara.
NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst was initially called City Hospital in the 1800s but was later renamed in the 1950s after transferring to a new building. After receiving major renovations, the hospital became a state-of-the-art healthcare facility that has grown to excel in providing care to women and children. Other employees of the hospital, such as Dr. Rupa Sharma, also give public presentations regarding health-related topics.
The asthma health workshop will be held on February 10 from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The informational presentation is suitable for all ages, and there is no prior registration required to attend the event. The workshop will be free for the public. Organizers for educational presentations such as this can use brochure printing services to give attendees information that they can later refer to at home.
