Looking for love has never tasted as good as it will at the city’s first ever pizza crawl.
The Forest Hills pizza crawl originated with IT recruiter Beau Gould, who has recently begun a campaign to gather singles together and provide them the opportunity to find their sweetheart.
The inaugural pizza crawl will include three pizza joints: Gloria Pizza, situated on Queens Boulevard; the Austin Street A&J Pizza; and Lillian Pizzeria, found on 69th Avenue.
The establishments are within walking distance of each other, thereby providing singles with extra time to get acquainted. Singles will end the evening at a local bar, where the mingling can continue.
Success for an event such as this one is dependent on getting the word out to those who might be interested. Often, a flyer printing service is the most reliable and cost efficient means of doing this.
Attendees interested in anyone they have met can contact Gould after the walk. If two people have expressed an interest in each other, Gould will provide each person with the other’s contact information.
The pizza crawl starts at Banter Irish Bar & Kitchen, and will take place at 7:00 pm on Saturday, March 24. The cost is $5, and non-Forest Hills residents are welcome.
“Crawlers” will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite among the pizzerias, and also participate in a random drawing for a gift certificate redeemable at the pizzeria of their choice.
