Two local organizations will be holding a fundraiser dinner in March at Dylan’s Restaurant in Forest Hills. Organizations in charge of fundraising programs such as this can locally promote their events by using Print shops to create Signs and Flyers.
Alternative Solutions for Autism is a fundraiser dinner where people can show their support for the autistic community. The event is co-organized by the NYC Autism Community Group and The Autism Innovation Network. During the program, guests can enjoy a buffet-style dinner, participate in a silent auction, and listen to a performance by Melissa Raye. Raye works for the New York City Department of Education and has sung with Jennifer Hudson on the TODAY Show.
The NYC Autism Community is an organization that was created by Richard and Maggie Schreiber in 2017. The group gives the autistic community a platform for sharing their experiences and offering each other support. The organization also created the NYC Autism Tech, Innovation, and Careers Expo in 2022. The community hopes to use the money from this fundraiser dinner to organize a second career fair this year.
