The Only in Queens Summer Festival is taking place in Corona Park at the end of this month. It is presented by Melinda Kats, the president of the Borough of Queens.
There will be activities taking place during the afternoon that should appeal to people of all ages. They include several exhibits including one with World’s Fair memorabilia and another of classic cars. There will be tours of the Queens Theatre and the New York State Pavilion’s Treat of Tomorrow. International food and drink will be available for purchase.
Arts and craft vendors will be on hand to sell their handmade items, such as jewelry and clothing. Family activities are set to include a scavenger hunt, face painting, and inflatable bounce houses. Guests also have the chance to meet Mr. Met.
Musical entertainment will be provided by artists such as Mack Wilds, Ginuwine, and DJ Camilo. There will also be a display of a dragon boat and virtual reality demos.
People from all over Queens, including Forest Hills, will no doubt want to attend this festival. Organizers may invest in banner printing services to help showcase various areas.
The Only in Queens Summer Festival will be held at Corona Park on June 26 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Admission is free of charge. To find out more, contact Nayelli Valencia at 718-286-2677.
