Best Wings Long Island is organizing an ongoing chicken wing hunt throughout Forest Hills that will end in February.
The Great Queens Chicken Wing Hunt is a tour where participants try various wings from eateries around the community. Several restaurants will be included on the hunt, like Bridie's Bar & Grill, Blackbird's Bar & Restaurant, and Tap House. Each person with a wing-hunting season pass will receive four jumbo wings at each participating location. Hunters can upload photos of their wings to social media and vote online for their favorite flavors.
Best Wings Long Island is a group founded in 2011 that organizes food-related events in New York. The organization's past activities include The Forest Hills Wing Fest, NY Best Wings Fest Ultimate Championships, and the Summer Wings & BeerFest. The founders also have an online list of the top 10 best wing places in Long Island. Businesses with events like this can generate more interest for the activity by using poster printing services.
The wing tour will be held until February 8, though season passes for the event must be purchased by December 26. The cost of a pass will be $35 per person, and VIP passes can be bought for $50. No refunds are available for the tour, and all guests must abide by the participating restaurants' health and safety guidelines.
