Arbor Festival to be celebrated in style

To mark Arbor Day in New York, the public is invited to come out and enjoy a day filled with entertainment this weekend.

The Arbor Festival at Queens Botanical Garden (QBG) festival offers a variety of entertainment, and vendors. QBG might have used a selection of printing services to advertise this festival to people in the area.

This fun-filled day will include a petting zoo, a variety of arts and crafts with children in mind, creative face painting with an enthusiastic crew, live music, and tours of the grounds. It is all in celebration of the Arbor Day weekend which, in most U.S. states, falls on the last weekend of April.

There are a number of food booths, some unique craft vendors, free consultations with compost and tree experts, and a beer tent, so photo ID may be required. Some of the activities have extra fees.

The festival is free to attend and everyone is welcome. The Arbor Festival at QBC will be happening on Sunday, April 27, starting at 11:00 am. Parking on the day will cost $10 per vehicle.

QBG can be found at 43-50 Main Street in Flushing, New York, which is only a short drive from Forest Hills. To find out more about the event, visit the gardens website or give it a call.
