Winter fun for all in Clifton Park

Residents of Clifton Park will embrace the season as the town celebrates its 2026 Winterfest next month. Presented by the Town of Clifton Park and its partners, the annual event is a community-wide celebration. Both inside and outside winter recreational, business and leisure activities will be included.

Well-known venues such as Clifton Park Mall, the local library, the Barney Road Pond, area orchards and the Vischer Ferry General Store will host a range of family-friendly activities throughout the day. There will be ice fishing, outdoor sledding, outdoor storytime, outhouse races as well as the much-loved Taste of Clifton Park Soup Contest.

As a kick-off to the day of fun, a Pre-Festival Park at Dark will be held in Town Center Park in the evening prior. A bonfire, carriage rides, food and refreshments including hot cocoa, s’mores and kettle corn highlight the evening festivities.

Local merchants play a big part in Winterfest as sponsors of the annual event and are joined by volunteer members of the Shenendehowa Rotary Club. Businesses and groups that get involved in similar community festivals often use flyer printing to advertise their products or services.

Winterfest will be held at various locations throughout Clifton Park on Saturday, February 7, 2026, while the pre-festival party in the park will be February 6, 2026 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.
