Clifton Park Mall welcomes new businesses
A revitalization of Clifton Park Mall by its new owners is attracting fresh local and national retailers and restaurants as the new year approaches. Businesses who became tenants in malls such as this often require printing services for their advertising and promotion.
Residents and visitors can expect seven new tenants within the next few months in the retail space now known as Clifton Park Center.
The revitalization comes after the 50-year-old mall, one of the largest retail properties in the Capital Region, was purchased in 2023 by CPC Development for $55 million.
Joining the upgraded shopping center will be a Sephora beauty store, J. Crew Factory fashion outlet, Five Below discount store, Herbie’s Burgers, Cold Stone Creamery, Wetzel’s Pretzels, as well as an Asian restaurant.
A number of the new stores will have convenient outside direct access from the parking lot to their business. This is part of the move from a classic enclosed mall to a more open, modern plaza-style space. Automobile accessibility to the mall is also being improved with the addition of a traffic roundabout.
Another upgrade to the retail space is the construction of a large children’s indoor play area.
Shoppers will see the transformation of the 630,000 square foot mall into the Clifton Park Center culminate early in 2026 with the addition of new tenants, bringing the mall to 100 percent.
