R&B artists to perform in Clifton Park
Blues artist Thomasina Windslow will be performing with the band Nite Train in Clifton Park. The performance will take place at the Spare Time Clifton Park & City Sports Grille.
Winslow is an Albany, New York native blues musician and singer. She is also the daughter of folk musician Tom Winslow. She has performed in several bands as well as a solo act. Her performances usually consist of Blues standards covers as well as her own gospel and blues singles. Alongside touring, she works as a music teacher at a girls' reform school's 'Expressive Arts' program. This is a program designed to help troubled teens express themselves with music.
Nite Train is an upstate New York band that plays Rock Blues as well as R&B. Their current lineup includes the saxophonist Marcus Benoit, bassist Ken Briggs, keyboardist Mike Kelley, vocalist Narla Briggs, guitarist Paul Quigley, and percussionist Mark Foster. All of these artists have decades of experience in the musical performance business.
