Pastry firm rises in Clifton Park

A growing pastry business is to move into a new headquarters in Clifton Park, with printing companies no doubt ready to help with Stationery printing ahead of the move.

Mazzone Hospitality, the largest catering firm in the New York area, will move into new premises that, according to the firm's financial boss, feature a state-of-the-art kitchen area.

Matt Mazzone, the chief financial officer and son of the firm's owner Angelo Mazzone, has said it will help with the research and development of new products and contribute to the firm's growth.

Matt also explained that the kitchen will host sampling events and be used to showcase new products and popular lines, such as the wedding cakes.

The firm makes around 20 wedding cakes a week presently. However, with the new kitchen able to see capacities lifted, Matt Mazzone explained that further production will be moved in house, saying:

"It's a huge business and we're limited by size.”

He went on to say that looking at the longer term, a wholesale operation may be launched by the firm.

The new location is set to be occupied through the fall, with the firm saying it should be completely moved in by November. In total, 70 full-time employees and 40 part-time workers will move to the new site at 743 Pierce Road.

The firm will launch a recruitment drive shortly after the move.
