Lumineers to visit near Clifton Park

Popular folk-rock band The Lumineers are set to perform near Clifton Park in late May with the special guest, CAAMP.

This performance will take place at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, which is a quick drive from Clifton Park.

While the two founding members, Wesley Schultz and Jeremiah Fraites, their popularity rose the most in the 2010s with the revival of the folk-rock genre. They are known mostly for a more simplistic and stripped sound that was inspired by artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, and Tom Petty. With this, they have created four albums, two of which have reached platinum status and one that has reached triple platinum status. In addition, several of their singles, such as Ho Hey and Stubborn Love, have become well-known hits.

CAAMP is relatively new on the scene, having only been founded in 2012 by Taylor Meier and Evan Westfall. At the moment, they have recorded three albums. Their latest one, By and By, debuted at #1 on the Heatseekers Album chart. Like the Lumineers, their music also has a stripped down, folksy sound.

The performance will take place on Sunday, May 29 at 108 Avenue of the Pines. Tickets are available via Live Nation. Up-and-coming bands such as CAAMP may be interested in business card printing services to promote their group.
