The Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce is opening an office in Clifton Park, a plan that was “a long time coming” according to Todd Shimkus, Chamber President. The Chamber of Southern Saratoga County is also based in Clifton Park.
Chambers of Commerce help support businesses in the area and provide a variety of member services. Chambers often merge together to broaden their areas of support and there has been an announcement that the Chamber of Southern Saratoga County will form an affiliation with the Capital Region Chamber.
Members of the business community reach out to chambers as well and often use business card printing services in order to have a supply on hand for networking functions. When affiliations are formed it enables them to become involved in regional programs on a broader basis which increases the opportunity to make contacts.
Local resident Liz Roggenbuck who works with the Southern Saratoga county Chamber will be located in the new office along with Denise Romeo who is the executive vice president of the county chamber.
The new office will provide programs which will help support members and expand the interest of businesses. Part of their efforts will include ways for the two Clifton Park offices to communicate electronically. They will also help with the area’s economic growth and help make Saratoga County more solid.
The new Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce office is located at 4 Emma Lane.
