The Dog Haus Biergarten will partner with the Bonsai Bar to host an educational event this January.
The event will give participants the opportunity to learn to grow their own bonsai trees. The session will include the skills and techniques involved in creating the optimal environment for raising healthy trees.
The art of bonsai emerges from Japanese culture, and primarily involves creating a miniature tree in a flowerpot. These trees mimic the shape of real-life and fully grown trees. The practice often includes using woody plants, and subsequently pruning these plants as they develop.
The event will be perfect for those looking for a night out. Patrons are not required to bring their own materials. Instead, when they arrive, guests will choose their own plant, as well as a ceramic pot to work with. The tools for the session will be made available courtesy of the organizers. Attendees can also enjoy the delicacies of the venue during the class.
The cost for tickets to this event will be $75. Tickets are available for sale on the Eventbrite listing.
Printing services will offer a useful way to give take-home material for events like this.
This event takes place at the Dog Haus Biergarten on January 19. This is located at 7 Southside Drive, Clifton Park, New York. It begins at 6:00 pm and ends at 8:00 pm.
