Fireworks cap off celebration in Clifton Park
Clifton Park will mark America’s 249th birthday with special activities, displays and entertainment. Presented by the Town of Clifton Park and local sponsors, the July Fourth Celebration will be jam-packed with events for all ages. Organizers of large annual events such as this often use poster printing as part of their advertising.
A Veteran’s Dash followed by a noon parade are among the scheduled events. There will also be a craft fair, pony and carnival rides and a petting zoo. Visitors will be able to enjoy an evening of live music as well as refreshments from food and beverage vendors. Bands will include Across the Pond and Grand Central Station.
At noon, floats, marching bands and more will make their way from Shenendehowa School Campus to Clifton Common to start the festivities. Clifton Common is an 81-acre local park that features multiple sports fields and courts, a playground and an outdoor stage where a range of performing arts events take place each summer. Clifton Common is also home to the town’s senior’s center which hosts social and recreational events, guest speakers and other programming for its members.
The 4th of July celebration concludes with an exciting display of fireworks at 9:30 pm. Further information on the Independence Day activities is available on the Town of Clifton Park website.
