Concert event to take place in Clifton Park
Next month, the Performing Arts Series will continue in Clifton Park. Alex Torres & His Latin Orchestra will be performing for one of these summertime concerts to be the program underway.
In 1980, Alex Torres, a bassist from the Bronx, first organized his orchestra group in Amsterdam, New York. Alex Torres & His Latin Orchestra have received multiple awards for their performances, including The Governor’s Excellence in Arts Award, The NAACP Albany Chapter Award, the New England Cultural Arts Preservation Award, and the Schenectady League of Arts Award.
Alex Torres & His Latin Orchestra will be playing original music that includes elements of Latin Jazz, Merengue, Plena, Cha-cha, Salsa, and Bomba for the upcoming Park event. Admission is free for every Clifton Park local interested in attending any of the family-friendly Performing Arts concerts. Starpoint Church will be providing refreshments free of charge for the audience. The organizers of similar event series often select flyer printing services to print informative advertisements that notify passers-by as to where and when the event will take place.
This outdoor performance will be hosted at Clifton Common Stage on Sunday, July 3. The concert will start at 7:00 pm. Attendees may bring their own lawn chairs to the venue, but are advised that no alcoholic beverages will be permitted at the concert.
