Clifton Park residents are in for a unique experience with the Albany Symphony.
Classical music enthusiasts can see Eric Berlin’s performance for the Albany Symphony right around the corner. Guests will receive a brochure printing at the start of the performance, highlighting the principal musician of the performance, Eric Berlin.
Berlin will be the principal trumpet player this night and has been characterized by the American Record Guide as a trumpeter with “boldness, big sound, impressive techniques”. David Alan Miller is the conductor, and the program for the night consists of three pieces: Christopher Rouse’s Heimdall’s Trumpet featuring Eric Berlin; Steven Stucky’s Radical Light; and Beethoven’s famous Symphony №3 “Eroica”.
As a result of current circumstances, all of the performances by Albany Symphony will be taking place at Troy Savings Bank Music Hall in Troy, NY, a short drive for the majority of Clifton Park residents. Parking is free on nights and weekends in Troy. More free parking can be found on the corner of State and River street, which is a two-minute walk away from the venue.
Eric Berlin’s performance will take place on Saturday, September 12, from 7:30 pm until 9:30 pm and on Sunday, September 13, 2020 from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm. This event has been rescheduled from April 18. Tickets are available for purchase through a subscription or by calling the Albany Symphony’s box office at 518–694–3300.
