Good Karma of the Capital Region, Inc. will be putting on its 9th annual Good Karma 5k run this June.
The Good Karma 5K walk or run event will donate all net profits to Regional Food Bank of Northeastern NY and AIM for Seva. This is an organization that provides free housing and education to children in rural India, while the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern NY collects donations from the food industry and distributes them to those in need across 23 different locations. The Food Bank is part of Feeding America, a national network of food banks.
There will be both an in-person and a virtual race, and the cost to participate in each will be $30 for those that register before this Sunday, April 30. After that date, the cost will be $35. Those who would like to register online for the in-person race must do so by June 16, or they can register onsite the day of the race. Individuals who would like to participate virtually can register online up until June 25.
Flyer printing is a great way for event organizers to provide information to in-person participants at events such as this one.
The in-person event will be taking place on Saturday, June 17. The virtual race will happen any time between Saturday, June 17, and Sunday, June 25. The in-person venue will be at Shenendehowa High School 970 NY-146 on Clifton Park, New York 12065.
