A technology firm headquartered in Clifton Park has commenced renovations to the building it has been leasing.
According to an August 28, 2015 news item, nfrastructure had considered building a new headquarters, but abandoned those plans in favor of buying and renovating its current quarters.
The renovations will cost about $4m, and will allow nfrastructure to consolidate all its operations in one place. The company is located in the Halfmoon Light Industrial Park in Clifton Park.
The company designs, builds, and runs data centers and computer networks for businesses that are related to what it calls the ‘Internet of Everything’. The company has more than 115 customers, including Google, IBM, and GlobalFoundaries, and employs almost 350 people in Clifton Park. The organization has already begun renovations, which are slated to be done sometime early in 2016.
President of nfrastructure, Jim Pascarell, said the company will first consolidate its offices, then work to adjust the flow of spaces within the building to integrate the process, people, and technology to achieve the best effect. Pascarell noted that the facility has served the company well, and believes that with the current renovations, will continue to do so in future.
