An author from Clifton Park is set to publish the final installment of her popular children’s book series.
Janine De Tillio Cammarata is the woman behind The Puzzle Quests, a middle-grade adventure book series that sends positive messages about empowerment and self-esteem.
The Puzzle Quests: Secret Treasures is the fourth book in the series. It shares the story of Peter, an 11-year-old boy and his team of Dragonian Knights. Peter must use his smarts and his talents to defeat his enemies, who plan to use magic to cause misery to Peter’s family and friends.
The author started writing The Puzzle Quests a decade ago for her two children, one of whom passed away in 2008. Cammarata was determined to see the series through and since 2017 she has been releasing one book every year.
Revenues from book sales go to The Fight to Be Healed Foundation, a charity the family started to help other families with children with cancer.
Cammarata will be launching her book this Sunday, November 8 at the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library on Moe Road in Clifton Park. Held between 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm, this will also be a virtual launch. When held in their traditional physical way, book launches can use Print shops for signage and banner printing, as well as Business Cards.
