Clifton Park brewery race supports young learners

A cold brew awaits adult finishers in the annual Have a Drink on Me 5k run in Clifton Park.

The event is held on a USA Track and Field certified course and is the first in the series of great American brewery runs many of which support local charities. The Clifton Park race proceeds and direct donations will go toward support of the Helping Hands Academy and Nursery School. It’s a non-profit society that works to provide all-inclusive pre-school instruction for children with a range of abilities. Last year, the race was able to donate $10,000 to the cause.

Participant awards include age group categories for both men and women from ages 10 to 70 and over. In addition, the overall top three female and male finishers will receive prizes. Walkers are welcome to join the race but must complete the course within an hour.

The race culminates at the SingleCut North brewery where there will be an after-race celebration including food trucks, outdoor games and music.

Participants of all ages will receive a goodie bag of race swag. Those runners who register as a team of ten or more will receive additional swag and event perks. Sponsors of events such as this often include Promotional Products as part of their contributions to gift Bags.

The Have a Drink on Me 5k race will be held May 3, 2025 at 10 am at 6 Fairchild Square in Clifton Park.
