Clifton Park bowlers to strike out for animal rescue groups

An upcoming Pins and Pets Bowling Fundraiser will raise money for two animal charity groups in Clifton Park. The event is in support of both Benson’s CARES and the Mr. Mo Project.

Benson’s CARES is an organization that works to reduce the incidences of pet abandonment while assisting in providing shelter and medical care for unwanted pets who await adoption. It also provides food to area animal rescue groups.

The Mr. Mo Project is a rescue program for senior dogs across the country. The group helps with veterinary and transportation costs involved in finding care providers who can foster an older dog in the comfort of a family home. Charity organizations such as this often use local printing companies to create their Letterheads.

The fun afternoon bowling event will feature a display of pet portraits that will be auctioned in support of Mr. Mo. The portraits were hand-painted by artistic students from Shenendehowa High School in Clifton Park.

Six-person bowling teams will be charged $130 to participate, while singles can join in for $30. Shoe rental is included, and registration can be completed online on the event website. Proceeds from the ticket sales will go to Benson’s CARES.

Pins and Pets will be held on Saturday, March 15 from noon to 2:00 pm at Spare Time Bowling Alley at 1668 US 9, Clifton Park.
