A show of special cars is on the schedule near Clifton Park.
The Adirondack A’s Model A Ford Club is hosting its 2021 Annual Classic Car and Truck Meet. The show is limited to stock-appearing vehicles manufactured prior to 1975. The Club, which is located in Clifton Park, was founded in 1984, and dedicates its energies to restoring, preserving, and celebrating the Model A Fords that were manufactured from 1928 through 1931. It also promotes everything pertaining to the Model A, including technical and historical information, and provides fans with the opportunity to work hands-on restoring these classic cars. Flyer printing can be used to create handouts for events like this.
The venue for the show is Lakeside Farms Cider Mill on Schauber Road in Ballston Lake, a short drive from Clifton Park. Lakeside Farms as it exists today dates to 1948, when Robert Pearce bought a farm for the old barn on the property, which housed a cider press. The press was built late in the 1880s and weighs 120 tons. Pearce and his family restored it and began making cider. They were so successful they opened a retail store in 1958, which led to the development of the entire complex.
The show will take place on August 29, from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm, and will be held rain or shine. Admission is free, and so is parking for spectators, but there is a $5 fee to register a car in the show.
