A 5K event is to be held in Clifton Park this September.
The event is the Shark Shuffle 5K and Fun Run. It will feature a 5K track as well as a mile run for those who prefer a shorter route. It comes after previously being postponed in March of this year.
The event will feature food, drinks, and numerous fun activities for all participants. These include photography opportunities, massages, and giveaways.
As a part of the swag bag gifts, each participant will receive an event T-shirt. Those 21 and older can also look forward to free drink tickets for the onsite beer tent. The event takes place to support the 1DOS Foundation, which is a wellness and mindfulness group that prioritizes the use of fitness journeys to raise funds for scholarships to benefit qualified persons.
The cost for registration will be $35 for adults, while children between the ages of 5 and 12 are $25. There is a price increase in effect closer to the event’s start date.
