Saratoga Springs will host its Art in the Park event this September.Art in the Park will showcase an array of art and craft work done by local artists. Alongside the art, individuals will be able to enjoy live music and artist demonstrations.
This event aims to support the non-profit Community Arts Center at Saratoga Arts, by raising funds and promoting awareness for their valuable work. Additionally, Art in the Park seeks to foster connections with the community and bring art to an accessible outdoor space.
Individuals can also register to be vendors and artists at the event. To do so, different criteria must be met. This will welcome artists from all art categories. To register, all interested artists must provide five pieces showcasing their merchandise.
The event accepts original works of fine art, and artists working with mediums such as painting, drawing, ceramics, mixed media, fine jewelry, photography, sculpture, printmaking, and fiber art are encouraged to take part. If an artist decides to present prints, they should have signatures with editions of 25 or less.
In addition to artists, food vendors may be considered for participation, provided they have the necessary certificates and permits. Flyer printing is a great way for organizers to advertise events such as this one.
