An event focusing on the East Asian are of Bonsai will take place in Clifton Park this March. The event is organized by Bonsai Bar. These organizers hope to carry the art of bonsai into the streets and other venues.
Individuals are encouraged to bring drinks and friends to the event. During the event, individuals can expect to learn different essential techniques and skills involved in Bonsai preparation and care. Individuals will learn the art of pruning, potting, and designing a bonsai tree. Each person will get a chance to choose their own plant and pot upon arrival; they will also have access to the necessary tools needed to carry out the tasks at hand. The trees that will be provided are Dwarf Jades. These are good plants for first-timers as they are very resilient. Individuals who find themselves having questions about caring for their plants after the class can later engage in a video consultation.
Tickets to the event cost $75. Refunds for tickets bought will only be available up to one day before the event takes place. The Eventbrite fee is non-refundable.
