A one-day workshop on Chinese Brush Painting will take place this April in Clifton Park.
It will be hosted by The Blooming Artist, and the instructor will be Linda Schultz, who holds a Master's in Art Education.
The session aims to introduce participants to the fundamental principles of Chinese Brush Painting, emphasizing its meditative nature and spontaneity. Through the utilization of the "Four Treasures" – an ink stone, ink stick, brush, and paper – attendees will explore techniques for painting the "Four Gentlemen": bamboo, plum, orchid, and chrysanthemum.
Throughout the workshop, attendees will be given continual demonstrations and individualized attention.
All necessary equipment will be supplied at a $10 fee payable upon booking. The total cost for the event will be $85 per participant. These tickets can be bought through the Blooming Artist's listing online.
The workshop adheres to a strict cancellation and refund policy. Refunds will not be issued for missing a class, and pricing adjustments for partial attendance are not available.
