Annual winter festival returns to Clifton Park

The yearly Winterfest of Clifton Park is set to return to the community in a few weeks.

Locations ready to host Winterfest activities include Kinns Road Park, Clifton Common, Garnsey Park, the Riverview Orchards, the Vischer Ferry General Store, Barney Road Pond, the Vischer Ferry Nature and Historic Preserve, Hayes Nature Park, and Veteran’s Memorial Park.

Activities that this year’s Winterfest will begin with breakfast at the Elk’s Lodge from 9:30 am to 11:00 am. Other activities will include an introductory ice fishing activity from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Barney Road Pond, winter outhouse races and food trucks at Clifton Common, cross-country skiing races for children at Garnsey Park, a self-paced Nature Story Walk featuring pages of a story along three park trails, and multiple activities at the Riverview Orchards, including free craft kits, snow tubing, free food to-go, and making s’mores at a bonfire for $1 each.

Admission to this Clifton Park event is entirely free, although participants are encouraged to bring money for food purchases from vendors. The organizers of such festivals frequently utilize flyer and brochure printing to ensure that all people who are interested in attending have convenient access to important event rules and information.

Winterfest 2021 is scheduled to take place on Saturday, February 6 from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm.
