A special event is on the way for those in and around Bellerose who work in the horticultural industry and want to waste no time in thinking about the year ahead.
Dubbed “Plant -O-Rama,” this expo-style event planned at Brooklyn Botanic Garden will welcome horticultural industry insiders. Admission is free, and there will be lots of activities on offer.
The attendees at the gathering will be able to do some networking during one of the meet-and-greets and happy hour, and a job fair and trade show are both on the agenda. A used garden book sale will help them to build a resource library for themselves or their business without having to break the bank, and a seed swap, native plant show and tell, and climate change project have also been planned. Along with this, the participants have the option of registering for additional workshops, the fees for which vary.
