Candle making class offered to Bellerose families

Wyckoff Farmhouse Museum provides Bellerose residents with a way to learn about the area’s past, and those who register for its candle making class can take the first step towards a new hobby.

The museum hosts its Family Day program once a month, and the December project will be candle making. The participants will be able to add their own unique touches to their piece, and when the activity has drawn to a close, the families will be welcome to linger and explore the farm.

The group will receive step-by-step instructions to make their candle, and the activity is recommended for families with kids from ages four to ten. The registrants are welcome to bring along some kitchen scraps for the farm’s compost, and if they arrive early, they may even be able to lend a helping hand at harvesting crops and weeding the fields and beds. For safety, masks are required and hand sanitizer will be available.

When preparing for an activity, many organizers choose to utilize registration Forms and waivers crafted by a company that offers Stationery printing services. Its graphic design department will be able to customize them to the recipient’s specifications.

This Bellerose area family project will be offered on December 18. The event will open its gates for the function at 11:00 am.
