Bellerose participates with Town Planner for community contest

Bellerose has been included in the Town Planner 2013 contest, with four prizes of $1,000 each for a shopping spree. Town Planner provides community Calendars for many cities within the country and works to help support the local business communities.

The contest consists of a form to complete with areas requesting information pertaining to various local services and products. Some of the submission information includes noting local businesses providing excellent customer services, upcoming events to include on the calendar, and companies that sponsor events or would be good candidates to be sponsors.

Bellerose is close to New York City and residents have the opportunity to participate in local events, as well as travel the short distance to NYC to enjoy the various activities there, as well. Flyer and poster printing efforts work well to advise the community of upcoming events, as Flyers can be mailed or hand-distributed. Posters can be mounted in high-traffic areas to draw attention and ideally boost attendance. Banner printing is also highly effective, with Banners being hung in strategic locations to advise of activities in the community.

Town Planner incorporates in many survey questions about its own services asking for feedback from Bellerose residents for the purpose of improving their calendar and including all Bellerose events. No purchase is necessary to participate in the contest or the survey. Bellerose residents have until February 20 to submit their Forms via the online website for Town Planner.
