Bellerose holiday market set to attract gift buyers

As Bellerose gears up for another winter holiday season, and many residents will be including a special event in their plans.

The Holiday Craft and Gift Boutique that has been scheduled for the VFW Post 2718 in Franklin Square will provide a wealth of gift ideas, and there will be options for almost any age or interest. It will be open for two days, and its listing explained at least 95 percent of the sellers will be offering handmade crafts or works of art.

The 30 or more local vendors at the market will have lots of unique gift ideas, and while the shoppers browse, they can sip on complimentary tea, coffee water or soda and enjoy a light snack. An even split raffle is on the agenda, and the function's charity of choice will be Rescuing Families.
