A call has gone out to the Bellerose area seeking assistance for a project that will add some more green to the local community.
The Bayside Historical Society wants to spread the word about an activity that is on its calendar in the hope that there will be lots of support for the session. Anyone who would like to add their name to the list of volunteers can do so now, and there are a variety of maintenance tasks that need to be performed on the days.
The participants will be supplied with the tools and other supplies they will need for the various jobs. They will be weeding, fertilizing, mulching, and engaging in other work. They will also be able to get in on the ground floor when it comes to some of the venue’s newest additions, including its pumpkin patch, plot for vegetables, and its pollinator garden.
Hosting volunteer activities helps not-for-profit organizations to build community engagement and buy in with a particular project or site. Providing these helpers with Promotional Products provides a way to thank them for their work and dedication to a cause.
This opportunity for the public to get involved with some community service is scheduled for June 3rd and June 24th. A registration link for anyone who would like to add their name to the list can be found online.
