The Variety Boys and Girls Club of Queens will soon be serving as the venue for an event that will give Bellerose families the inside scoop on the recreation choices available in their own home area.
The Queens Economic Development Corp. and the Central Astoria Local Development Coalition have teamed up to host the Kids Discovery Expo. It will connect them with businesses and organizations that offer recreational classes and other active fun, and it will run for four hours.
The expo will be filled with an assortment of tables and displays, and representatives will be on hand to meet the families, answer questions and distribute informational materials prepared by brochure printing companies. Live performances are on the agenda, and admission will be free. Some may accept registrations on site, and the attendees can also meet one another and make new friends.
When preparing to take part in an expo, trade show, or recruitment event, companies and groups often contact a printer in advance. They can supply everything from Business Cards to application and order Forms.
The Kids Discovery Expo will be pointing the way to active fun on Saturday, August 17. It will run from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm, and all ages may take part. More details about the function can be found on its Patch listing.
