Bellerose enjoys summer festivities

The West Hempstead Kiwani's Club is hosting The Annual West Hempstead Spring Street Fair. Just 10 minutes away, Bellerose residents can reach this annual street fair famous for its arts and crafts activities.

A limited number of children (ages 12 and younger) will receive a free ice cream. Adults and children alike can enjoy a craft fair, which features over 100 vendors. Guests can pick up gifts from tote Bags with unique logo designs to T-Shirts and other unique handmade items to share with friends and family.

There will also be a variety of kids' activities, including a mechanical bull, rock climbing wall, and rides on the Hall's Pond Choo-Choo Express, the three-cab trackless train. Additionally, eight food trucks will be located in the middle of the fairground, along with ample seating area. In the eating area, there will be live music performances on a mobile stage for the whole family.

The Annual West Hempstead Spring Street Fair takes place on Sunday, August 23 (rescheduled from June 7) at Hall's Pond in West Hempstead. Admission is free. If the weather does not permit outdoor events on August 23, the rain date for this event is Sunday, August 30.
