Bellerose families will soon be participating in an activity that has come to be a local favorite, and tickets for the festivities have been made available.
The Queens County Farm Museum will once again get spring rolling with the “egg-citement” of hunting for hidden prizes. Each ticket is timed, and parents are reminded that they cannot be transferred.
The passes for the celebration must be purchased in advance, and only those who do so will be permitted to enter the egg hunt area. Everyone should bring their own basket, and along with this portion of the day, the rest of the farm will be open to explore. Hayrides and a chance to meet and pose for photos with Whiskers the Bunny will be on the agenda, and free games and a self-guided scavenger hunt will round out the activity, which will be held rain or shine.
Many egg hunts and other spring community celebrations take place outside. Weather resistant decor, signage and other materials can be prepared for function by a banner printing company.
This annual kickoff to the spring season is scheduled for April 19th, and it is anticipated that it will be another sell out. The first time slot starts at 10:00 am, and the festivities will continue on until the venue closes for the day 5:00 pm. Anyone with questions is asked to call (718) 347-3276.
